Bio:

Dee joined the Adult Congenital Heart Disease team at Toronto General Hospital in 2023 as the Clinical Transition Coordinator. Dee graduated with a Bachelor of Nursing Science degree from Queen’s University in 2020. She began her career at Kingston Health Sciences Centre gaining education and experience in postoperative surgery, intensive care and perinatal areas. Since then, she has worked in 5 different healthcare facilities across Canada serving under-resourced, remote communities. Dee has always had a keen interest in cardiac medicine and working with youth. She is motivated to improve the young adult experience as they navigate the critical transition period between pediatric and adult care.
