Bio:

Barbara Bailey completed her certification as a Nurse Practitioner at the University of Toronto in 2007. She has had an interest in adult congenital heart disease for many years with a focus in postoperative management. However, since April 2015 she has expanded her ACHD interest and now manages both medical and surgical ACHD patients in the inpatient and outpatient setting.

Barbara’s favourite accomplishments include leading a patient education initiative to develop a children’s storybook to help parents talk about their heart surgery with their children, and the development of a recovery program after cardiac surgery.
